The game show,

On the morning of the 14th I reached JFK and within 2 mins I spotted a sign with my name on it and headed towards. The man standing there I hadn't met before but it became apparent he wasn't there for small talk and guided me over to a private boarding area. I was advised we would be flying by private jet and only the contestants would be taking the flight the rest of the people we would meet in Mexico.

The flight filled up pretty quickly and in total it had 16 seats however only 10 of the seats had been taken. The only thing that surprised me was the fact everyone on the flight was male, I would've expected some of the other sex to at least be there but I also considered they might be splitting everyone up and we would get to meet the others when we arrived. The flight was pretty quiet most of the guys just listened to music, the odd drink and the odd bit of small talk. For being so close to each other we just did our own thing and didn't interact. I all honesty I was relieved I didn't want to make friends and didn't come here for any other reason than some quick cash.

Touch down in Mexico and it was warm, uncomfortable at first and made me feel slightly apprehensive. This was all real. We went straight off the plane and into 4 big limos each. Each one had the limo driver outside with a list of names. I was in the third one with 4 others and at this time we had some chat but again it was more formalities. It was a short drive to the next place we must've only been in the car 20mins at most and we were pulling up to a mansion with a nice gated drive. The place looked like a scaled down white house. We walked up the stairs to an open lobby with two sets of spiral stairs to our sides leading up to the upper floor. The inside was grand it had little furnishing however what was there looked expensive and it had been placed in that position clearly by a high-class interior decorator. The mansion had clearly not skipped on any costs. I had to wonder why I would need a 5 star hotel after this place. it was amazing.
